Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of Financial Statements
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and credit cards
  • Assist with A/R, A/P, daily controls credit and collection as needed
  • May assist with leading the effort for our custom developed CRM software system implementation and updates and development
  • Support financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
  • Assist and provide data and financials related to audits with our CPA firm, banking representatives, insurance companies and tax agencies.
  • Works with managers of other departments to streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count
  • Knowledge and use of Intacct preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Excel (VLookup and Pivot Tables a must)
  • Experience with some CRM and/or ERP software
  • Analytical skills with the ability to readily communicate financial information to all levels of the company.
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of General Ledger with both Income Statement and Balance Sheet
